Adam Ludwig is a music composer and multi-media artist. He is a graduate of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, where earned a BFA in Art & Technology with an emphasis on Sound Design. Adam got his early studio chops working as an assistant at commercial recording studios in Chicago from 2001 – 2003, where he got his song credits as a bass player and guitarist on original music for TV commercials and video games, while working with a small team creating music videos and live visuals for Chicago rock legends Styx and Journey.
In 2004 Adam moved to New York City to pursue his music career after landing an internship with JSM Music in Manhattan. He was hired as assistant engineer shortly after, and eventually earned the title of music composer, writing and recording original music compositions for TV and film for national and worldwide advertising campaigns. Adam has collaborated with and produced music for several Grammy award nominees including Rev Run of RUN DMC, Angela McClusky of Telepopmusik, and Chris Barron of Spin Doctors.
In 2016 Adam worked with New D Media Arts where he creates 3D projection mapping installations and interactive audio / video installations for music festivals and touring artists as well as commercial clients and museum installations. Adam continues to write original music scores for advertising and video games out of his studio in Detroit. In 2016 Adam produced music for Mos Def’s (Yassin Bey) most recent album December 99th. Most recently has been working on the in-house production team at Daniel Brian Advertising, working as sound engineer and production artist. Creating sound design and mixing tracks for TV and Radio campaigns, while at the same time creating motion graphics and video editing on the same spots.
